Question 2080 or 2080ti with 6700k

Hello. So i decided to upgrade from 980 ti. I have 6700k @4.6Ghz and i play at 1440p 144hz monitor. So which would be the best choice for my setup 2080 or 2080ti. I d really wanna buy 2080 ti but i don't know how well it will run with my CPU. I've seen that 2080 ti at 50% gpu usage is much worse than 2080 at 100%.

So could 2080 ti with 6700k perform worse than 2080 with 6700k at 1440p?

Yeah 2070, or 2080. That CPU will limit a 2080TIs potential.

Yes, 2070 or 2080. Really depends on your budget. But 2080Ti is overkill unless you have the money and really want to get best ray tracing without DLSS in 1440p (like in Metro Exodus).

I’m in the same boat, the way I see it get the 2070 and lower some settings to maintain 100+ frames or get the 2080 and have most turned up
