I can’t decide what I should go for. I want to stream and edit gaming videos. Should i get 2080 super or 2080 ti? I know the 2080 ti is insane but i can save 500 dollars if I go 2080 super. Is the ti really worth it?

Solution
The Ti is only worth it if you play in 4k and you insist in 60+fps with high settings in most games. If you only play 1440p WQHD, then the 2080 or 2080 super will do just fine. 2080, 2080 Super and even the 2070 Super can handle 4k pretty good as well, but you might have to tweak the video settings a little mix of high and medium) in order to reach the 60fps in average. If you only play in 1080HD than a 2060 will be enough.

For the streaming and editing the processor is more important than the video card (unless you use an editing software that is using CUDA).

2080ti if you want to play AAA titles at 100+FPS @ 1440p with ultra settings.

Not really, the ti will only give you a few extra frames on games so this will only make a difference in 4k.

What are you aiming for? 4K highest possible settings, 1440p at ultra with 100+ FPS or will you settle for a bit of compromise? The 2080Ti is poor value for its performance but it is the fastest gpu do there is no right or wrong, just what suits you.

I went 2080 Super for 1440p 144Hz and it’s great but I do have to compromise a little on settings in some games to get 120fps average.

Thank you. I think I am going to go with 2080 ti. I am getting Ryzen 9 3900x so I think i am good with editing and streaming. Thank you!
