2080TI Clicking Sound

Just recently got a MSI 2080ti gaming X trio.

Anytime I put load on the GPU a clicking sound will begin to appear.
Its only when the GPU is being utilized by around 80%+ the clicking starts.

I know for a fact that it isnt the fans, cause they spin just finewithout making any noise when the GPU is not under serious load.
I also tried the MSI cooler boost which spins the fans at 100% to cool the GPU, and this makes no ticking sound.

I uploaded 30 sec audio of me holding my phone down to the back of the computer:

I would like to hear if anyone has any idea whats causing it? My guess is somekind of electrical component on the GPU.

I have not had any problems with stabilty on the GPU. But this sound is quite annoying and instantly noticable when you have no music etc. in the headset.

Yeah that would bother me all to Hell. It does sound like a fan problem. Go through different fan speeds and see if it's at a certain RPM.

Are all fans spinning freely? Are you using the support bracket. Its possible for it to interrupt the fans if not positioned properly.

Is the noise possibly coming from the PSU? What make and model do you have? It could be the PSU fan kicking in under load. I'd also check that.

I had the same problem. Mine is EVGA 2080 Ti Ultra SC. It did not spin freely. EVGA asked me to check if the wires were blocking the fan but I could not find that. Returned it to the store for a refund. So, even they said that it is not common, there are people who bought from another brand having the same issue. How widespead is it?

Im positive its not any fans, making the sound.
I did install the support bracket for the gpu, and I can also see through the case that the support bracket is not interfering with the fans. The fans spin freely.

Ive had my PC for 4 years, and I have never heard this ticking sound.
The only thing I did was swap a 970gtx for a 2080ti.

The psu is SilverStone Strider SST-ST 1000W.
I have also had the thought that it could be a component in the PSU making the sound, when pulling alot of juice.

I have tried to the best of my ability to hear if the sound came from the PSU or GPU, but its really hard isolating the sound. If I had to pick one over the other I would say that it does not appear that the ticking sound comes from the PSU located at the bottom of the case.

I put the card in my Razer Core X. I opened the case so I saw what happened. When the fans tuned, that kind of sounds were created. When the fans stopped, sound stopped. Later, EVGA asked me to manually turned the fans to check. I found that one of the fans caused the sound when I turned it. So I am 100% sure it is the fan "at least in my case".
