[SOLVED] 2080ti temps when gaming

Just finished up my new PC yesterday and today I finally managed to get some time gaming with it. I’ve seen a lot online about 2080ti running hot when gaming and just want to check to see if my temps are ok, in your opinions. When gaming, the gpu immediately ramps up to 70C. Literally within the first couple of minutes, over the rest of the gaming session it tends to fluctuate at around 73-80C. It’s an EVGA gtx 2080ti XC using the aggressive fan curve from precision X1. My cpu temps seem fine, it tends to be below 55C. What do you guys think? Are these ok? Thanks!

Those are normal/safe TEMP values for the GPU. No worries here.

70-80 is pretty normal.
higher than 80 is also normal but its not recommended. if it exceeds 88C thats where u need to worry about it

Awesome! That is good to hear. I was just worried about it reaching 70C in a matter of seconds and then creeping up from there really. Just ran a heaven benchmark at ultra for about 5 mins and it peaked at 74C. Is that acceptable?
