On many forums i have seen that 16:9 2560 x 1440 is better than 21:9 2560 x 1080.
But as I live in India the costs are quite different.
I can get a LG 29EA93 or 29UB65 for 500$ with three years warranty whereas a Dell U2713 or Asus PB278Q would cost me 700$+ without warranty as I would be importing them.
I get that in Asus PB278Q vs PB298Q one should go for PB278Q as they are similarly prized.
I can only stretch my budget upto 600$
So my only other option is a Korean monitor like Qnix 2710.
So should i take the risk of importing an korean monitar or should i go for a 21:9 LG monitor. Please note that i run a 6950 1gb and I mostly use my pc for Gaming, Movies, TV shows, animes and web surfing.
If you think I should go for a korean monitor please tell me which one would be the best option, or do I have any other low prized option.

I ordered a Korean yamakasi Sparta 301 30" 2560 x 1600 monitor via ebay.
It arrived promptly with no bad pixels.
I am very pleased with it. It is fully as good as it's companion Nixeus VUE 30"
Perhaps the only negatives are a flimsy stand, but I use a vesa mount anyway.
The only input available is a dual link dvi which is needed for 2560 x 1600 operation anyway.

The Qnix monitors seem to have a good fan base so I would not be too worried about them either.
If your gaming favors strategy games compared to shooters, a larger resolution unit is great.
If you need fast action, your 6950 may not drive a high res monitor at high frame rates.
