21:9 office work with a low end card.

Hi everyone,

My dad bought a 21:9 lg uw screen. (2560x1080)
But his pc (windows 7) isn't compatible with this resolution (he was using vga)
Now he is using a vga to hdmi adapter that he bought for 10 euros.
I was suggesting a videocard, but which?
It needs to be AMD and the price has to be as low as possible.
Can anyone help us?

An r5 230 will do the job mate.

my parents computer is running a Nvidia GeForce 210 and it's driving a 2560x1080 display just fine. really anything with a HDMI out should be able to drive that resolution. the mentioned cards by madmatt30 are plenty adequate.
