Hi I know this has been asked over and over but I can’t seem to find any useful information. I'm looking at getting a Sony GDM-F520 or the Mitsubishi Pro DP2070SB-BK.
I have found both for close too the same price (both refurbished). I have found very little reviews for either of these models just there younger brothers. The Mitsubishi seems to be getting better reviews but the Sony cost twice as much normally and that doesn’t make since price = quality within reason (how can you chare twice as much for the same thing?) Now the review I'm going off of is the one tom's did 2 years ago and it was the Sony G520 and Mitsubishi Pro 2060.
The few users’ from another site that gave the Sony more then Just a thumbs up or down (162 up & 12 down) had loved it until it died and it died right after warranty another said poor quality it pops and gets fuzzy. So anyone out there with either of these two models or knowledge of, I would appreciate any input.

I will use this monitor for game’s and movies for the most part. Text and Photoshop is also important

Thanks a lot

Both of those screens are very simmilar. The main advaged to the Mitsubishi is that it is still produced and you can buy it brand new. The sony can usually ONLY be found as a referb or used. I used my Sony G500 21" till it got so fuzzy it made my eyes hurt. I reluctantly replaced it with a Mitsubishi FP2141SB-BK but I turned out to really like the Mitsubishi. If you can afford it just go for buying the Mitsubishi new, then you get a nice warranty with it :)

I agree with Folken, I used my G500 for quite a while and was very happy with it, I've only heard good things about the F520. But, if I wanted to get one of these two, it would be the Mitz, new with warranty is too good to pass up. And it really is every bit as good as the Sony (Sony always charges more...it's just the name). Personally though, I like the Veiwsonic P225F+ better (higher resolution/refresh rates).
