2100 vs 2120T For Server

The T uses less power, but the question is will the performance hit you take make it worth it (500 Mhz). Also, the power usage difference between them is 30W, which means that for power usage at $.12/kWh, the cost to operate the 2100 over the 2120T is $31.54USD.

$31.54 Over What Time?
I Also Want It To Last A Long Time Since It Will Run 50%-90% Load 24/7?

Over the course of a year. As far as life span, temperature and voltage regulation (cooler and motherboard/PSU) are more important than the CPU itself.

TX3, H70? Overall what's the amount of lifespan if they have the same coolers?

Whichever keeps them cooler (not my area of expertise). Almost exactly the same, and they should be the last thing to fail in a system (literally).

Well, ok! How long do you think the system will last?

I'd say that for 24/7 use 5 or so years if neglected and in a relatively dust free environment, longer with regular cleanouts. The most likely thing to fail is the hard drive in actuality.

Well it will have dust filters... will that be enoguh? I have enough time to clean out the filters every week or two.

Should be more than enough. I'm referring more to the people that only clean out their PC's bi-yearly.

I don't think either is a bad choice. If you're power conscious, go with the T model. I'd be surprised if you end up being dissatisfied with either of them. I doubt you'd notice much difference between the two in terms of the server's functionality.

But wont the T model last a bit longer since it's set at a slower clock? Im planning on using a Hyper 212+ (Or EVO) and artic
silver 5.
