I'm trying to decide on a cooler and I'm looking at the 212 Evo. Have 4 sticks of 8gb corsair vengeance and a 6700k skylake cpu. Will the 212 evo clear the ram on the MSI z170a?

Side Question: Which direction does the fan on the 212 evo move air? From fan side to non-fan side, or vice-versa?

Solution
The Vengece LPX is 34 mm tall the clearance for the cooler is 37mm with the fan in the stock position it can also be raised up just a bit if needed.
The Cryorig H7 is a bit better cooler and has 0 memory interference.
Side answer fan blowing air through the cooler. It should be mounted on the memory side blowing towards the back exhaust fan.

I've heard the H7 is very heavy and vents toward your side panel, though. Seems like that's not as efficient for airflow if it's venting in a perpendicular direction? Or am I overthinking it.

Update: Sorry. After checking back, it's the noctua d14 that I was hearing is heavy and vents toward your side panel. Haven't seen the H7. Just looked it up and it looks solid. The clearance will for sure not be an issue with this cooler?
