im upgrading my cpu soon i decided on the 6700k and i have a 212 evo would the 212 suffice?

It depends only on how high your OC and core temperature expectations are. You obviously won't be gunning for 5GHz or core temperatures below 50C on a 212.

If all you want is a stable mild OC, then it will get the job done.

i would want a 4.5 maybe 4.4 oc could the 212 evo handle that you think?

It will be fine in games but under stress test you will have higher temps.
I think it will be fine for 4.4 OC.
