212 EVO or N520?

Which one cools better? I know the price is higher on the N520, but does it cool significantly better than the 212 EVO?

That is genuinely surprising, since they're both from Coolermaster. You'd think they have some internal continuity, but either way it works out better for me. Thanks.

Most coolers will do an adequate job.
And... comparison reviews are not very useful unless all the coolers were using the same fan.
Higher rpm fans will cool better at the price of increased noise.

Personally, I would try to use a cooler with at least a 120mm fan like the evo.

If your cooler budget is in the $75 range, look for a noctua or Phanteks cooler with one or two 140mm fans.

The N540 with 92mm fans has a place if you do not have the 160mm height to install the evo.
