So I'm having a variety of problems in my new build with my ram and at this point I'm at quite the loss as to what to do. I have a 2133 32gb kit of corsair dominator platinum running with a 4670k and an Asus z97 ar motherboard. So when all 4 sticks are in the system crashes before post. After hours of guess and check I'm fairly certain all 4 function properly Howeverm the system can post when using only slots b1 and b2 (the furthest two on the right). Whenever any sticks are put into a1/a2 the system crashes. However, if I boot into the bios and set the speed of the ram to 800mhz I can correctly boot with all 4. I have no idea why its doing this. I've tried everything from swapping sticks, updating the bios to checking the mobo for bent pins. Should I replace the motherboard? What else might be causing the issue?

Solution
Boot and boost the voltage of your CPU's memory controller (it might be called VTT, IMC Voltage, QPI/VTT Voltage, or Vccsa).

By the way, when you try to set it to 2133MHz, do you do this manually or by enabling X.M.P.?
In your BIOS, load optimized default then go AI Tweaker and enable XMP. That should take care of it.

I would also test each RAM one at the time using the 2nd DIMM slot from the CPU just to make sure it's a memory issue. When test each stick, just leave BIOS on default settings and see if it'll load windows with no issues.

XMP isnt enabled right now. When I did try to set it to 2133 it was manual. After saving that setting and resetting the computer just starts the normal boot/crash cycle. I haven't had a change to try xmp but will tomorrow after work. Thanks for the help so far guys

Sat down to finally look at the issue tonight. First things first hit the XMP switch on the mobo. Problem solved immediately. Rams operating properly without crashes. Thanks guys, feel kind of stupid right now. Ah well.
