Question 2133 MHz ram compatible with 2400 MHz ram?? ASUS-Z97

Hi, i've been using 1x8GB HyperX Beast 2400MHz ram for a while and now i want to upgrade. Looking on danish websites, I did not manage to find another identical 8GB stick anywhere, however i found this: https://www.proshop.dk/RAM/Kingston-HyperX-Savage-DDR3-2133-C11-SC-8GB/2456243. So i was wondering if it would be compatible with my current stick of ram, despite the frequency difference.

If you must upgrade, look into a ram kit, as opposed to trying to patch the upgrade up with a mixed set of ram sticks. I'd suggest picking up a kit, for now, then after the upgrade, sell the stick of ram you've got from the platform. FYI, if you decide to work with the ram you've linked, you're going to be running all rams at DDR3-2133MHz.

Again, don't mix and match rams during an upgrade. Less troubleshooting.
