Question 2133 mhz still good speed in 2020?

So I have an asrock h170m pro4s motherboard and excuse me if im wrong.. still a lot to learn, but it seems to say it supports 2133 mhz speed memory, im assuming higher speed memory cant be used with this mb? I need to upgrade memory because im currently only running 8gs and that seems to be a bit low.. is upgrading to 16gs of 2133 mhz memory still good in 2020? or is it time to get a new mb... or, am I wrong about that being the only compatable speed for my mb? thanks in advance!

out of the box it will support up to the 2133 ram. however, you can run faster ram by overclocking it. but there is no guarentee how high it will run or what would be stable at what speeds.

you'll have to do some research to see what others have been able to work with that board.
