alright, i'm goin all out on this monitor, and i need a little advice on this. Is this a really outstanding monitor or what? Is it the samo samo crt! If i have the money should i do it? So ne1 out there got any info for me lemme have it. From what i hear, this is one bad ass piece of machinery. 1 more thing..what's thedifference between the 511 and 512 model? thnx

See the links. Not even considering image quality, it's recommended specification is rather poor for a 21/22" monitor. It's not recommended at 1600x1200@85hz which should be standard for this size. The basic rule is around 1.25 factor pixel increase per 2" increase diagonal view, though it's slightly off (1.28) from 15 to 17". A 17" should be optimal at 1024, a 19" at 1280, and a 21" at 1600. It's maximum spec is very good (2048@85hz), most video boards won't go that high in refresh. In light of the max rez, the 1280 recommended appears even worse. Anyways, the recommended is what you should look for, if you assume all manufacturers "recommend" on similar criteria...
CRT's are half the monitor. The other half is quality and capability of the electronis (resolution/refresh).
511 is not available (at least not on the manufact. site) in the US.
Quality is better than name brand, even regarding beloved AMD.
