I was wondering what to do. I have ~$650 to spend on a monitor, I'll use it mostly to surf the web, watch movies(DVD's and Divx files) and TV(w/ an Ati AIW 9800). I wanted to know which of this options would you guys recommend me.

1)Buy a 22" Viewsonic p225f(~$600)
2)Buy a 19" monitor(~$280) and use the rest of the money buying a 24" or 27" TV(~$370)

Thanks in advance. BTW, my bedroom is about 3.5m x 3m (small)

I've heard good things about the cornerstone p1750 and its a nice relatively compact 22" monitor with nice screen quality. Check it here

Since your rooom is small I would recommend you buy a nice 22" monitor. The extra resolution is always a good thing for your PC, and it'll be plenty big to watch DVDs. Plus you can always add a nice set of 5.1 speakers and decoder and have a really neat "little" home theatre setup! ;)
