I have recently stumbled upon an interesting article:

I'm no computer guru, but some of these tricks and tips appear interesting. I would like the opinions of the members of this forum in validating what's listed there. Can anyone give this a look -- comment on some of these Steps and suggest whether they're worth it or not?

Seems like all the usual preventative maintenance power users already do. Nothing in there unusual but also nothing in there that would dramatically change the speed of an already healthy, operating system.

meh. Relevant 6 years ago when this was written.

At least one in there is downright dangerous, #10.
1 is potentially dangerous, #19.
And #8 has long been killed off by MS.
