I am currently playing ME: Shadow of war on ryzen 2200g 16gb(2x8gb)kingston hyperx 2400 and GTX 750ti. Can I remove the 750 ti and use the APU? still no budget for 1060 6gb.

Solution
The 750TI is still a stronger GPU vs the Vega 8

Really depends on the titles you play and the resolution you want to play at.
For 1080p, personally, I wouldn't look much higher than a 1050TI or RX570.

What you're suggesting would actually be the CPU "bottlenecking" the GPU. Opting for a 1070 could be fine, but I'd expect your R3 to be maxed out long before the 1070 could fully stretch it's legs (at 1080p).

Thanks, I was thinking it will be just a small margin on 750ti and Vega 8 APU. still catching up on games and my 750ti is still great on custom and low settings on new games. do you happen to know if which is GPU is better for 2200g 1060 6gb or 1070. without bottlenecking the CPU in any way?

yup 1080p or can be at least 720p as long as steady fps 40 above I guess.
I love playing, mgs phantom pain, neir automata and ME shadow of war. nba/nhl/nfl 2k. more like this games in the future.

I think I'll get 1050ti instead. will it hold for another 3-5 yrs? or 1060 6gb after 3-5 yrs then upgrade cpu?
do I also need to change my ram to 3000mhz will it make a big difference?

btw here's my build.

CPU: Ryzen 3 2200g
Mobo: Asrock b450m - hdv
RAM: 16gb (2x8gb) Kingston Hyper X 2400Mhz
PSU: Corsair 450W
HDD: 1TB

3-5 years would be entirely guesswork at this point. Nobody can guarantee that - especially if RTX takes off etc.

Remember, a 1050TI (and all/most 10 series cards) are >2 years old already. Asking another 3-5 years from a mid-range card would be somewhat like using a 560TI today, I would imagine.

It should "work", but hardly a great experience most of the time.
