2200g is slugishly slow

So on friday I bought and built a brand new rig (my first)
Specs:
ryzen 3 2200g
8gb ram ddr4 3000
msi b450m g plus

the problem is, I cant seem to get any good performance out of any of it. When i try to run absolute potato games like roblox I get no more than 5 fps. I have done dozens of hours of research by now and nothing seems to help. I am quite desperate for help at this point. I can answer lots of questions.

Is the 8GB listed, 1 DIMM or 2 DIMMs?

Did you do a clean OS install or reuse a previous OS install?

In addition to answering the OS question, have you installed all the chipset drivers?

It would be helpful the know the things you *have* tried rather than playing 20 Questions.

Better than 5 FPS on Roblox, a game that can run on a Pentium 4 and a Geforce FX from 2003, is not an unreasonable expectation.
