2209wa vs U2211H

a better choice for monitor - 2209wa or U2211H

The 2209wa is discontinued so you can only buy it used or refurbished. It is 1680 x 1050.

The U2211H is relatively inexpensive, but it is 1920x1080 which is bit high for a 22" monitor to me. If you are used to working with a laptop, then it shouldn't be too much of an issue since laptops have higher resolutions in smaller screen sizes.

2209wa in my country(Latvia) are still available, and they pay about 50eur more than U2211H. I was reading review about 2209wa, and there had only good things. http://www.prad.de/en/monitore/review/2009/review-dell-2209wa.html

now I can't choose between 2209wa and U2211H. I think that 2209wa is better, but maybe I'm wrong! so I need help to choose the best.
And its not for my laptop, but for my desktop computer, for auto cad, maybe games.

The 2211H is better. It's a higher resolution screen, and uses the same type (E-IPS) of panel as the 2209WA. It's effectively the replacement for the 2209WA.
