2232bw and best graphis card

Hello to all! I have this monitor Samsung 2232BW, and I would like to know the best gpu, for gaming, for this one. My pc is i5 4460/8gb ddr3/700w 80+ psu.

I think that due to the monitor limitations i cannot get everything from a high end card.

I have AMD 6870 1Gb at this moment. Thank you in advance.

If you want a high end card, you can get a high end card, monitor does not limit you in that way at all. Even if it's lower resolution than what a fast card can do, you can still run more demanding games and turn up the quality.

For an i5 CPU and 700 watt power supply you can pretty much go up as much as you want to spend.

GTX 970 is good for not a very high end price with good performance.
