23 inch vs. 21.5 inch monitor for photo-editing,gaming

Does anybody have experience using 23 and 21 inch both monitor? Does 23 inch seem that bigger than 21.5 inch? Does it worth shelling out 50 USD more for for the 23 inch one? (Are the bezels of dell s2240L so much visible? Any idea? )

Wow well it depends if you have that $50!
Honestly though, i'd suggest that you make sure your pc works exactly as you want it to, then if you are sure your specs are right, consider if you want the little increase. I can't say its striking or helpful to me :/ But it is a little better, and if you are doing graphical editing or have poor vision a bigger screen might be helpful.
The one time i find bigger screens good is when i'm watching it from far away, such as sitting at on my sofa watching a movie with the pc on my desk.

For photo editing, it would be better to focus on color contrast and how 'black' the black is.

Exactly...photo-editing is the main priority. I heard that the bezel of this monitor is 1 cm. Thats why wanted to shift the size to 23 inch. Yea,focus is the main thing for an analysing. What do you think? As an user with a fit physique ( :-D ),a 21.5 inch would be quite good or not? As I'm from India,9K means *much* for me.

Well if you feel you want a big screen then thats what you should do It's just from a purely professional point of view perhaps contrast numbers might be better, but a bigger screen is an upgrade. Choose what you think: i've given my opinion, but here it's purely a personal choice over what you think you'll need.
