24" 1080p gaming monitor: G-Sync 144Hz+ or Zowie XL2540 Native 240Hz?

Hi Guys,

Just a question about picking up a 24"1080p gaming monitor. I recently got a GTX1080, so my old 24" IPS 60Hz monitor is quite laggy in games. I want a 24" 1080p gaming monitor, as 27" inch is bit too big for my desk, and I feel things are too small in 2k/4k.

My choices are the following:
Acer Predator XB241H G-Sync
ASUS PG248Q ROG G-Sync
Zowie XL2540

I'm leaning towards ASUS or the Zowie 240Hz, could someone please give me some advice for the monitors? And how about the G-Sync, is it as good as it says?

go for the Asus PG248Q, great gaming monitor.

anything above 100Hz is great, above that is pure luxury and Gsync would become more important for varying frame rates.
