24/7 with 8 guest monitoring system

Which CPU should i get if i want to have an 24/7 with 8 guest monitoring system, most likely for business use not gaming. i7 2700k? 3820? or 3770? or do u guys(expert) have any other better suggestion? trying to keep the budget as low as possible with the best performance

what do you mean by guest monitoring system? Hotel doors,locks,lighting...? or surveylance? or hosting?

hosting, more like a virtual drive with 8 ubuntu

i would go with the 2600k. you can just up the clock multiplier and have a 2700k so theres no point in spending the extra $$.

You may want to look into an AMD Thuban processor such as the 1090T (if you can find any) as they support ECC memory and would provide a more stable 'server like' system. Just be sure the motherbd supports ECC also.

wait i though that the intel is more advance then amd in number processing, and how about the 3770k, it looks like it use high level of architech and better clock speed and stuff too
