16GB RAM

After installing drivers and games and what-not it went up to a constant 24%.. I feel like this can't be normal - haven't had the computer long enough to get a virus.

Solution
Yes it's very normal for ram to be used - always. Unused ram is wasted ram IMO.
Windows sometimes uses multiple gigs of ram to keep programs loaded in the background so you can start them up quicker - I wouldn't worry about this though, because when you actually need the ram in a game or some other application it would be freed up elsewhere if necessary.

It's actually more common with windows 10 then any other OS, because they designed windows 10 to use more of your systems ram for speedier access to files/programs.

You have absolutely nothing to worry about.
24% of ram used? that is 3 to 4 gbs of ram, windows 10 right? usually mine with 8 gbs uses 2.7gbs more or less when running a couple apps and the web browser, also steam and origin, afterburner there too, sounds around normal to me, windows 10 is not a lightweight os once loaded with all what you normally use

Memory usage might reduce as PC learns what you use the most and also stops downloading updates and drivers. Mine sits on 19% if I don't have anything open & 21% with chrome running. It all depends what you run.

helps to let pc sit idle so it can run background processes that can help efficiency and reduce memory use.

Free ram is wasted but I prefer to have too much than not enough :)
