hello guys .. i currently have a 23 inch monitor and i never used a 27 inch before ..i set 2 feet back from my monitor .. and now i'm between Two 1080p monitors , the first one is Asus VN248H 23.8 Inch .. and the second one is Asus VX279H 27 Inch AH-IPS .. so is 27 inch monitor @ 1080p worth it? .. i do browsing, gaming and movies.. what would you do if you were me?

Upgrading from 23" to 24" does not make any sense if you ask me.

I recently moved from 22.5" to 27" after about 4 years (both Samsung). At first, I too was concerned that it was too big especially when I tried gaming on it for the first time. But then I very quickly wondered why I didn't upgrade much sooner. I was just blown away by the fidelity - even 1080p movies looked better.

Trust me, there's no such thing as too big... you'll get used to it in about 12 hours or so. Go for the 27".

I too sit about 1-2 ft away. 1 ft when I'm sniping :p

thank you .. the thing that worrying me is that i always used 24" for the whole time, also i just set one-two feet back from my monitor, so i feel that the 27" will be over-sized to me, also it will have a smaller PPI .. i feel pixels are more accurate on 24" when it comes to 1080p.
