24" Monitors sub £150

I was looking at the following monitors:

24" Samsung B2430L Widescreen LCD Monitor LS24PULKF

Acer V243HAObd 24" HD Ready Monitor DVI 1920x1080 2ms

Could you tell me if these are good value for money. I'm not looking to do any gaming, its required for basic office/internet usage. If I'm better served by going for, let's say a 22", let me know.

If you're not gaming or doing photo/video editing, just about any recent monitor would meet your needs. Just look for an inexpensive monitor from a trusted brand. Between the two you listed, the Samsung is lighter (5.2 kg vs. 7.6 kg), but consumes more power (45W vs. 33W), if you care about those details.
