24 pin atx main connector with evga 500w?

So I am building a pc and will be using the following parts:

Intel i3 4370
Asus GeForce gtx 960
8gb Ram
Gigabyte ga z97x gaming 5 mobo
Gigabyte GZ-MA03 case
wd 500gb hard drive
500W - EVGA 80+ White Rated Power Supply

I know that everything will be compatible, except the psu and motherboard. On the motherboard website it says:
1 x 24-pin ATX main power connector
1 x 8-pin ATX 12V power connector

Would this motherboard be compatible with the psu?
