Hello, my Corsair TX650w 80 Gold PSU has broken 2 cables on the header, the small metallic header are wide open than before.

Can an electrician change the whole 24-pin cable or should I replace the whole PSU?
I havehad it for 5 years.

That PSU should have a 7 year warranty so you might be able to get a warranty replacement. If not it is best to just get a new PSU instead of trying to fix the cable.

I suspect paying someone to fix it will likely not be the best choice money wise. Maybe put the money into a new power supply instead.

Replacing the actual connector though is not real hard. The big trick is learning to use the little tool release the pins from the connector. I have never done a 24 pin one but it uses the fairly standard molex pins. You will find lots of youtube videos.

With the complexity of a 24pin I would swap 1 pin at a time to the new connector rather than removing them all and then trying to keep track of which wire goes where.

I damaged my self 2 of the header pins cuz somehow itself if you connect to mobo or to a PSU tester tool it got shut down after 10 secs if I move slightly the cables of the 24 pin connector it gave power to power up the PSU and then again the same some contacts must be off somehow never touched it before...

which one is better ?

1. Be Quiet System Power 10 (BN328) - Full Wired - 650W - ATX - 80 Plus Bronze - Black
2. White Shark GPSU-B600S (COLONEL-2) - 600W - 80+ Bronze - Full Modular
3. Be Quiet System Power 9 600W CM Semi-Modular

That is a very low quality PSU and shouldn't be used in any system. It isn't even a 450W PSU as the max wattage on the 12V rails is 360W. It is also based on a platform that is at least 10 years old.

From those the only one that can be recommended is the Be Quiet System Power 9. The System Power 10 is one of worst branded PSU available.

which one other do you recommend
again my specs are.

2600 ryzen 5 cpu
b450 tomahawk max mobo
rx 570 4gb gpu
lg ultrawide 29 inch monitor
1 ssd
2 hdd
2 x 8gb corsair ram 3200 mhz

in the future i might upgrade gpu or cpu , do i need 550w or 650w psu?

That Corsair is a very good PSU. Is that PSU less than 7 years old? If so you might be able to get a warranty replacement from Corsair as it has a 7 year warranty.
You think that i should I get the same again?
There is not warranty now because I remove the warranty stickers to open it and check whether it doesn't get power.
I have in my possession for 5 years.
Anyway.

That Be Quite it's 500w only tho
Shouldn't I get a 600w+ ?
I tried many watt calculators and everyone reported back that I should use a PSU over 550w.

Even if I upgrade CPU in 2 years for example I might need another PSU
So should I choose another?
Could you suggest any one other for about 60-70$

Psu cables are 99% not interchangeable, if you buy a different brand psu, well sometimes even same brand can change pinouts on different models, remember to remove all Corsair cables, the ones that are modular. Txm is semi modular, so replace pcie and sata cables the new psu comes with. High risk of shorting out otherwise because there's no pinout standards across the psu industry.

Not available in my country.
Could you check this website cuz this store it's near me house and can get it ASAP cuz I need it .
Browse also to another page it has plenty of psus

Man just save up a little more. It's not going to be that much more. Psu is blood for the pc, don't skimp on it. Out of sight out of mind i know.. it don't look pretty, it's not how it works and the power supply is the most important part.

You mean that 600w is enough? I don't get you :/
