24 pin connector issue

Before I begin, here are my relevant specs:

Gigabyte Z97 Gaming 7 motherboard
I7 4790k
Corsair RM 750 PSU

My computer will randomly shut off and I think ive found the source of it. If I move the 24 pin connector while it is plugged in, my computer will turn off. I have to randomly move it around and suddenly it will power back up. I cannot seem to find any specific cable spot where it works/ doesnt work. Is there any way to fix this or should I RMA my PSU/Mobo? (This is a fairly new build, had it for a month)

Might see if you can borrow a different PSU and try, if it does same it's probably the mobo, if not then the PSU
