Hi Guys.
So I have just recently moved to the UK ( about a month ago) and only took the bare essential parts of my desktop with me. One of which was not my PSU
At work they were chucking some old Dell tower servers and I scavenged a 750 watt dell power supply (h750p-00)
The PSU has a 6 pin PCI-E connector and I have purchased an 8 pin EPS mother board Header adapter that uses the original 4 pin plus molex ( not great I know but no overclocking and will do for now)
My problem is the 24 pin main motherboard power connector.
It plugs in perfectly, even with the satisfying click, but the colours are all wrong and its missing 2 cables.
Can I simple power it on ?
Will this destroy my board?
Should I pop the pins out and re-organise them? Is this even possible ?
Thanks in advance guys.
PS I don't have a multi meter, If it will help, I will get a cheap one
