nVidia 240 GT (1GB DDR3) vs HD 5670 (1GB DDR3) so which card is better?

my current pc specs are:

intel core2duo 2.80 GHz
2 GB DDR2 RAM
Intel DG41RQ motherboard
lots of hard disk space
450W PSU

so which card is better? and which one will leave me satisfied for longer to have it?

I purchased a GT 240 DDR5 on Newegg for $40 plus you get CrazyMachines 2, that's almost a steal for that price.
