Hello. I am looking to convert my pc to liquid cooling. My plan is to buy everything to cool my CPU at first, then later on add my GPU and RAM into the loop.

I have a corsair 600t white case, and I am having a hard time deciding on whether or not I should go with a 360 rad or a 240. I know that I need to mod my case to install a 360 rad in the top, and I am fine with doing that. Later on when I add my CPU and RAM to the loop I will be adding a 200mm rad in the front of the case using a push pull config with the corsair case fans.

should I save myself a few bucks and the work of modding my case for the 360 rad and just go with a 240 rad? or should I pay the extra money and do the work to get the 360 rad in the case? I plan to have my CPU and GPU overclocked pretty highly, so I want the most cooling performance I can get. Is there going to be that much of a difference in cooling capability between the 240 and 360 radiator?

Solution
There is a decent difference as the 360 radiator can displace around a third more heat. If you want the most cooling performance go for the 360mm rad.
