Question 2400g - The G is no longer needed! Boot problems.

Hi,
I've had a 2400g in my first build in 20 years for 3 months now, I've just added a GTX1060 EVGA 6GB..
-This is on an Asus Prime X470 Pro. m.2 samsung pro etc.

-All is fine aside from on boot I now get "amd driver is not installed or working correctly..." on a popup. no options but ok.

-How do I disable the 2400g's graphics? Do I need to? I'm not using the motherboards hdmi lol (I read about that being common with noobs like me).

The plan is to upgrade the processor come black friday or christmas, so I'd like to get rid of this annoying popup until then.

-I should point out that this has been fitted same time as latest windows upgrade, which even with this OK setup and 32gb Ram, took far too long lol. - I've had zero problems with the upgrade of windows, unless this is one! lol.

Grateful for any advice for an old timer noob lol.

Might be as simple as going into the BIOS and setting the primary display to be PCIe instead of iGFX. You can also uninstall the AMD drivers if you aren't using them.

Though, nothing says you can't leave both running in practice.

Many thanks. I can't seem to find such an option in the Asus bios.

I pulled that from the manual for that motherboard, page 62. Should be under the Northbridge (NB) section. Have you opened the advanced BIOS? The simple menu will only contain basic things like boot order and temperatures.
