hi, i have a pc with ryzen 2400g, 16gb ram vengeance, msi b350 gaming plus, i am looking for a graphics card, and now stuck with these two msi gtx 1080ti gaming x or msi rtx 2080, the price difference is not that much so should i go with 2080 or i will face some bottleneck, please do let me know, thank you in advance.

Solution
it will probably work just fine and be fast as all get-out with the 2080. plus then you will have it when you do upgrade the cpu for that extra gain later on. either way, you should have a fine, fast system

I think you should wait until rtx 1080 prices go down a little and get one for about $650 and get yourself a slightly nicer CPU because a 2400G will not show any better performance than a gtx 1080 unless you get a better CPU because that would be a significant bottleneck. That, or if you are only playing at 1080p or 1440p, you will be totally fine with a 1080 because there is no point in upgrading your GPU unless you get a better CPU

While 2 1080ti’s will out preform a single rtx 2080, most games won’t scale nice with dual GPUs. Also you should probably wait til rtx or the 1080s come down in price and upgrade that cpu because it will bottleneck both GPUs

Do u plan on playing @1080p 1440p or 2160p?

i was talking about 1080ti which shows same performance to rtx 2080 without those ray tracing and dlss things considering, but i totally got your opinion i was wondering how much loss ill be facing if i go with rtx 2080,and in future i can go for another cpu, may b ryzen 5 2600.

thank u for replying, yea but the thing is i just built my pc with 2400g now i cant upgrade the cpu right away, so if i get rtx 2080 how much loss will be there in gaming, if its too much should i choose gtx 1080 then
