2400mhz RAM Compatibility

i am getting the Asus Maximus VI Extreme motherboard and the Intel Core i7-4770K Processor and was wondering if it was compatible with the Dominator Platinum Series — 16GB (4 x 4GB) Dual/Quad Channel DDR3 DRAM 2400MHz C10 Memory Kit from corsair, thanks

Going to the Mobo manufacturer's website will give you an idea on what is acceptable. You can find it HERE for your convenience.

Personally I'd get a good Mobo around the $100-150 price range and use the extra $200-250 on a GPU upgrade and/or SSD, but it's up to you.

Yes the Mainboard and the Memory modules are compatible. The ASUS Maximus VI Extreme support 1333MHz to 2933MHz.
