2400MHz RAM for Ryzen 5 1600?

I'm on a tight budget to get memory for my PC build.
Will 2400MHz RAM be good enough for gaming?

however seeing as faster RAM is like 10$ more for the additional performance it's quite worth it

may I ask what your total specs are?
might be better to save elsewhere.

RYZEN 5 1600
MSI B350 TOMAHAWK
ASUS ROG GTX 1060 6GB
CORSAIR CX650M
2TB HDD
120GB SSD

P.S. I also wanted to get the Cooler Master Masterliquid lite 120mm AIO

don't get the ASUS Strix but a cheaper 1060 (will perform the same), a Corsair CX550M & you'll have all the money you need for a 3000MHz RAM

Yeah, costs 1.1k more though, not worth it imo.
All the good PSUs were sold out, the Masterwatt Lite isn't a bad unit by any means, solid really, and plenty for that system, but not as good as an S12II.

It's way overpriced, and looks very tacky after a while, don't bother, that also means your other components would see a serious downgrade.
Looks take a backseat to performance always, but i've put in a good mix in this case I think.

I'm going to get the G.Skill Ripjaws V 3000MHz 8GBX2 KIT, a Corsair CX650 PSU and a 120GB SSD.
I've increased my budget to get all of these.

Also you want a 250GB SSD.

Alright I'll get the Ripjaws V 3000 8GBX2 KIT and a 250GB SSD but I need black cables for my Power Supply , I hate the ketchup and mustard cables and I also wanted to get a semi-modular power supply. Any recommendations?

There aren't any that are in stock and good quality atm, you won't be staring down your PC 24/7, just go with the stock cables. No decent PSU available to you comes with black cables out of the box unless you go for one of the higher end units which are way out of your price range.

Get the corsair imo, if you're willing to spend it though the Ripjaws V 2x8GB 3000Mhz kit is good value.
Can't remember if it was from MD Computers or Prime ABGB, take a look, it was 9770 or something from memory.
