Hi there!

I'm on a tight budget to get memory for my PC build.
Will 2400MHz RAM be good enough for gaming?

Thanks

MY PC SPECS:

RYZEN 5 1600
MSI B350 TOMAHAWK
ASUS ROG GTX 1060 6GB
CORSAIR CX650M
2TB HDD
120GB SSD

P.S. I also wanted to get the Cooler Master Masterliquid lite 120mm AIO

I already have the ASUS GTX 1060

Should I get a 8GB kit or a 16GB kit?

Will Gskill TRIDENT Z RGB 3000MHz 8GBX2 KIT work with MSI B350 TOMAHAWK AND RYZEN 5 1600?

I'm from India actually and I have a budget of Rupees 20000 which is around $310
I have to fit in a PSU, SSD AND RAM within this budget.

Solution

I'll give you props for your research!
But shouldn't I use a Dual Channel memory config for better performance?

I really want the Gskill TRIDENT Z RGB will it work with Ryzen 5 1600?

I'm going to get the G.Skill Ripjaws V 3000MHz 8GBX2 KIT, a Corsair CX650 PSU and a 120GB SSD.
I've increased my budget to get all of these.

Alright I'll get the Ripjaws V 3000 8GBX2 KIT and a 250GB SSD but I need black cables for my Power Supply , I hate the ketchup and mustard cables and I also wanted to get a semi-modular power supply. Any recommendations?

There aren't any that are in stock and good quality atm, you won't be staring down your PC 24/7, just go with the stock cables. No decent PSU available to you comes with black cables out of the box unless you go for one of the higher end units which are way out of your price range.

Alrighty then should I get the Ripjaws V or The corsair Vengeance memory?

Thanks for your help!
