[SOLVED] 2400mhz RAM, or is it ?

Purchased an x99a-usb3.1 with a 5820k CPU and four sticks of kingston hyperx 2400mhz RAM.
RAM installed at the correct spot , a1 b1 c1 d1 as manual+ youtube says.

In bios it shows xmp enabled and shows all of em on 2400mhz, but in windows though it is only on 2133mhz ?

Is it this normal, or am i missing something ?

Use this memory app and see what it reports. PassMark RAMMon - Identify RAM type, speed & memory timings Also what bios are you using?

I will try this software and reportand i have actually updated to the latest, but i havnt realy had the time to sit on it properly.

Will do more tests and update.

If your bios is saying 2400, more than likely windows is just reporting wrong.

Task manager reports speeds incorrectly a lot.

I always use this software for seeing ram speed
CPU-Z | Softwares | CPUID
Take a screenshot of both the memory tab and the SPD tab.

Also, is the information on every slot of the SPD tab the same?
