2400mhz supported mobo and 2133 supported cpu will 2400mhz Ram will work at 2400mhz??

This is a bit tricky situation .iam hoping to buy ddr 4 G skill 2400mhz ripjaws 8Gb kit. My motherboard supports up to 2400mhz but my i3 6100 only supports up to 2133mhz .so my 2400mhz Ram will work on 2133 or 2400 ?

1) The 2400mhz can run at 2133mhz.
2) If your MB can oc, then enable the XMP in the BIOS, the RAM will run at 2400mhz, so it depends on what MB you had.

I have a budget Mobo I didn’t really care about mobo when building
It’s a gigabyte GA-H110M-S2PH
