240hz 1440p monitor?

Hey!

Any rumors of 1440p 240hz monitors coming up? Preferably with IPS, G-sync and HDR. I'm currently running a 1080p 144hz monitor, and have been looking at the Rog Swift PG279Q, but want to wait with the upgrade until I can get 1440p at 240hz.

I'm thinking VOLTA should be able to run games such as Overwatch at 1440p 240hz if you turn the details down a bit.

Whats the point of 240hz?? 144hz is perfectly fine. 240hz won't make you a better gamer. Plus no GPU can even push 240fps at 1440p (with decent settings), unless all you play is CS GO.

We're in 2018, would the RTX 2080 Ti and i9 9900k be able to run games at 1440p, 240hz?
