240Hz=240fps needed in a game?

Hello.

The thing is that my pc is not that good..Core 2 quad q9500, gtx 1050 ti and 8gb ddr2 ram...Do I need 200fps in a game to get the full 240hz experience?

You will not get the "full" 240 Hz experience without 240 fps, but as long as you're getting more than 60 fps, it'll be better than a 60 Hz monitor would be.

Well, yes, to take advantage of 240Hz, you will need to pull off 240FPS+, something impossible with your configuration.

It would be an absolute waste. You need the FPS to benefit from the refresh rate. If you only get 60FPS a 240Hz monitor would look identical to a 60Hz.
Get a plain old 1080p, 60Hz monitor. Put the rest of the money towards a new system.

Yup, no advantage in buying this. You've got a solid budget GPU on an ancient platform and there's little reason to buy a monitor that's likely worth twice as much as your entire PC. You don't necessarily have to get to 240 fps to make use of a 240 Hz monitor, but your PC will struggle to hit even the 60 fps mark in many newer games. For $480, you could be upgrading your PC to a 2018 platform.
