Hello.
I want to buy this 240hz alienware monitor:http://www.dell.com/en-us/shop/alienware-aw2518h-lcd-monitor-full-hd-1080p-25/apd/210-amsr/monitors-monitor-accessories
The thing is that my pc is not that good..Core 2 quad q9500, gtx 1050 ti and 8gb ddr2 ram...Do I need 200fps in a game to get the full 240hz experience?

Solution
Yup, no advantage in buying this. You've got a solid budget GPU on an ancient platform and there's little reason to buy a monitor that's likely worth twice as much as your entire PC. You don't necessarily have to get to 240 fps to make use of a 240 Hz monitor, but your PC will struggle to hit even the 60 fps mark in many newer games. For $480, you could be upgrading your PC to a 2018 platform.
