Question 240hz monitor help!!

hello,

so I just build my first gaming pc here are my specs



AMD Ryzen 7 3700X
Nvidia RTX 2070S (Super)
WDC WDS200T2B0B-00YS70 2TB
Corsair CMW16GX4M2A2666C16 2x8GB
Asus ROG Strix B450-F Gaming MB

I currently am running a ViewSonic 27Inch Curved 144hz Gaming Monitor, while playing call of duty i feel like the quality of the picture could be better, also coming from xbox x 4k idk if that has something to do with it, but would me getting a better monitor help at all, i messed with the ingame setting to try to make it little less blurry in distances but not really the best, any advice would be much aprpreciated

In the title you write 240Hz but in your description it says 144Hz. However I can't see how is this a monitor issue. What is your framerate? What is the monitor refresh rate? Do you have V-sync on in the game's settings?
How is it blurry exactly?

my fps in came bounces around 100-144, I turned of v sync in game, and things are just kinda dusty not the clearest

I really don't think it has got anything to do with refresh rates. Try other programs and see if you notice this blurriness there as well.
