Hi Guys, I am planning to buy an Antec DF500 RGB case and an Antec Mercury 240 AIO cooler. My question is that though the DF500 RGB specs do not specify anything about radiator placement on the top of the case, can I do that? Would it obstruct anything considering the fact that the total height of the radiator and the pre-provided fan is 52mm. Thanks in advance.

Solution
Yes a thick radiator can be in the way, obstructing the motherboards VRM heatsink or even RAM modules. Space can be limited vertically as well, the rad is usually longer than 240mm, since the tube attachment takes up space as well.

Have you tried asking this question from the manufacturer at support@antec.com
