Hello everyone,
I finnally got a job, and its time to upgrade my config from 5-6 years ago !
With a budget of 2500 - 3000 €, for the month of july (to get reduction !), i want to build a new computer that's gonna last as long as my old (5 - 6 years)
I would like to get a gaming computer but also a workstation cause my job need a lot of virtualisation !
Actualy i got that config :
Proc : I7 2600 k
MB : Asus P8h61
Ram : 8 Go gskill 1333 mhz
Alim : 600 W ocz
GC : 970 gtx
Storage : SSD 850 evo 256 GB
Case : HAFX
So i did a little config on a french website since i'm french ! It's not optimal but its almost the best price i can get !
Proc : I7 8700 k 200 € already bought !
Motherboard : Asus ROG X HEROES z370 (270 €) ( or GIGABYTE AORUS 7 gaming (260 €)
RAM : Well, its here that i have the most ambiguous choice, either 2400 mhz with a low CAS, or 3200 C16 cause i want to get in shape for a long time ! g skill trident z or corsair vengeance lpx or rgb... in 32 Go
Alim : A 850 w in case i want to add more ssd or another video card... Maybe this one ? EVGA SuperNOVA 850 P2, 80+ PLATINUM 850W , Fully Modular ~ 140 €
CG : The 1180 who gonna be out in july or august ! (800-900 €)
Disque dur : Samsung 960 or 970 evo 500 Go m2 ssd (200 €) and i can get my old ssd + hdd for the new one
Case : 150 € max, i currently own a hafX, it's great i want to have another full case like that ! i think of nxzt phantom 530 but idk !
Screen : a 144 or 165 Hz dont know which (i play a lot of fps) in the range of 250-350 €
And cooler : aio kraken or the h115i or a aircooler a noctua one ! dont know what to take ! I plan of OC quite a bit !
I got all this on a Windows 10 Pro
What are you guyz thinking of this ? knowing that i want to have it for 5-6 years... thats why i buy a lot of high end stuff so it can last longer !
