$2500-2750 Gaming Build

So it's been a couple years since my last build and I think it's time for an upgrade. The new games I want to play (mw3,bf3 and a few others) are due out soon and I want to play them on something new and shiny lol! My budget for the build is $2500-2750 preferably the lower half. I'll only be doing gaming and some video editing stuff here or there but gaming is the priority. Thanks again ahead of time for the replies and help! I asked for help here on the last build and haven't been dissapointed!! I think I went with a madadmiral build suggestion if I remember correctly so if your out there I need assistance once more!

Additional Comments: I want to run eyefinity or surround. I dont have any parts already found and most of the time I wind up changing what I have to a suggestion on here anyway lol. I was looking at the 6970 in 2 way crossfire as they are cheaper than 580s. I just want to run 3 screens with good frames. I'd possible I would like water-cooling since its quite and I know i can overclock with it. Not to mention I hate dusty fans and even with filters they somehow are still dusty. I want either a red/black or a green/black build if possible as well. Thanks again!!

 

[Why_Me]

There are so many ways to go with this build...changes whatever with that budget. Myself I like one great monitor for gaming so I'm going to post an alternative to this build down below. Also keep in mind that people have posted that a single gtx 580 can't max BF3 on ultra high settings. Something to think about.

Add the monitors to this build. The board posted down below has a NVIDIA NF200 chip which allows dual cards to be run @ x16 & x16. Not a big deal unless you plan on going with three cards sometime in the future. All these new Asrock Z68 GEN3 boards are due out on the shelves within the next few weeks.

Thanks for the quick reply!! I like the build you came up with. My previous case was the HAF 932 so this falls in line! You say no water-cooling? I like high end machines but had the noise they give off. Noise and the added asthetics were the only real reasons for it as air cooling seems just as good nowadays. I really want to run surround or eyefinity. I'm going to have multiple monitors either way due to the fact that I like to have my programs separate depending on what I'm doing. With the top 6970 build what monitors would you throw in? Based on the 1500 price tag from that list I should have around 1200 to get
3 monitors

That cpu cooler I posted up above is one of the newer hybrid water coolers. They are a hot item atm. They run quiet and take up very little room.
