Oh, sure I wouldn't mind having RGB. For the monitor, no thank you I might get a new monitor sometime next year.

So here's the deal. If you are going to be spending that kind of coin on a computer, it is going to be impressively powerful. So much to the point where it will essentially be idling at 1080p resolution and this is especially the case for a 60hz monitor. My advice would be to gear most of your budget towards everything but the gpu, because you only need to much performance for 1080p 60hz. This way when it comes time to purchase the monitor, you can also upgrade your graphics to match the performance of your monitor. The last thing I need to know is the refresh rate of your current monitor so I can decide on what graphics card you'll need.

I picked that case because it had the best cooling in its class according to Gamer's Nexus. You'll need those dual 200mm fans if you go with this build.

I picked that motherboard because of Gamer's Nexus also. High quality fully functional parts. That AIO cooler was designed/created to tame the beast that is the i9 9900k.

SgtScream the performance gain for 3D workload you get from going with RTX2080 over GTX1070/GTX1060 is extremely high.

Fair enough. I video edit, therefore my demands are more with the processor. I read a little into Maya 3D it does use ray tracing which is a feature included in the new RTX cards, as well as the faster GDDR6 might prove to be a wise investment. If that is the case price per core doesn't justify going with the 9900k over the 2700x and spending extra on the RTX 2080 would be justifiable.

@perseusgames I heard it all depends on the end user's (You) use case. Do you have a system now? If you monitor the performance is the graphics card even worked?
