I've been attempting to overclock my 2500k with no success. I am using an Asus P8h61-m le/csm motherboard. when I type in the turbo ratio using anything above 33 it will automatically reset the ratio to 33 after the restart. please help and thanks in advance. also I've been attempting this in bios if there is an easier way of doing this please share.

Sorry, you cannot multiplier overclock with that h61 chipset motherboard. You need a Z-chipset motherbd. Z68 or Z77 I think for that gen CPU.
You can gain a little more mHz by upping the baseclock from 100 to 102 or 103. Anything much higher and you run into corruption, often on the pcie bus. Your board is not great for this either.
