2500k Sell Or Overclock?

I would like some more power i have a 2500k 8gb ram 69502gb.
i was thinking of getting a second 6950 a cooler and a psu
6950 £70-£90 ebay
corsair gs800 psu £82 amazon
Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO £23 amazon
sell my psu for £40 corsair gx600
it should cost me about £150 and hopefully do me another 2 yrs
or should i sell the lot and start fresh. I will be playing all the latest games at 1080p @ 60fps BF4 , witcher3, watchdogs

i have a 2500k @4ghz (i lowered it from 4.5), but i intend to keep it for a while longer.
1. because it is still fast (i can use 4.5ghz if needed)
2. replacing it means i would have to get a new board too, so not practical for me

A 2500k still does everything fine, it most of the time matches other CPU's almost at the same clocks when overclocked. CPU upgrades are slowly and slowly getting less impressive -- due to less need for CPU processing and more for GPU processing.

Get yourself a nice cooler, and overclock the i5 2500k. There are plenty of guides online.

The GPU however, would be a good thing to sell and upgrade. You can sell it and buy a nice 7950/760.

lets say i sell my 6950 for £70-£90 plus £130 =£210-£230
i could get a 7950 £200
680 £240
7970 £270
ive read that 2 6950 are 770 levels which are £320 thats an extra £100 ?
