Hello,
I have a toshiba a505, with an i5/430m, 4gb ram, windows 7 64bit home premium and an intel graphics media accelerator hd.

I am trying to get my laptop to support the native resolution of my pc monitor.

The pc monitor is a hp lp3065,which has a native resolution of 2500x1600.

I have tried a driver from hp specifically for the monitor with no success.

Also tried a driver from intel, but it would not install due to it not being oem specific.

There is nothing else available from toshiba either.

Not sure if it is even possible but does anyone have any suggestions?

How was the laptop connected to the external monitor? Did you use an HDMI-to-DVI Dual Link cable/adapter?

I think @jaguarskx is correct because that is what I also read in Intel's spec sheet for the 4500MHD.

Since your laptop doesn't have DisplayPort you're out of luck.

Thanks for the replies. After posting I did some more research as well and realized that I was not going to be able to connect to the monitior with my current configuration. Do I have any options at all to be able to connect to the hp monitor?
