256 ddr or 512 pci33

is it better to have 256 ddr memory or 512 pci33? 512 pci33 is onyl slightly more expensive...

huh? It's PC133 not pci33. Anyway, it really depends on what you're doing but for most tasks 256MB DDR will be faster.

Like AMD_man said, the DDR is faster, but if you plan to use more 256MB often, the 512MB would give a more constant speed, rather than dipping into the swapfile.

DDR is 5 to 10% faster than PC133

if you used not applications like video/photo editing which need 512Mo to 1Go 256Mo DDR is a little better

but you have to buy also a mb which support DDR & they are little more expensive
